Day 0 Lab

We reset you on Day 0.
By month six, it’s not foreign anymore.

Not a course that teaches you facts about Spanish, French or English. Six months, three sessions a week, one small group — until you stop translating in your head and just talk.

Groups of max 5 · Native + polyglot teachers · Spanish, French, English

The shift

Drag through the six months. See how it lands.

Day 0 isn’t when you start. It’s when we reset you.

Day 0

You know the grammar. You still freeze at the counter.

Levels

Wherever you’re starting, day 0 still applies.

Matched by a real spoken assessment — not a guess, not a form you fill in about yourself.

1 A1

You’ve never said a full sentence out loud. Day 0, you will — it just won’t be a good one yet, and that’s fine.

2 A2–B1

You understand more than you can say. We close that gap — not with more rules, but by making you use the ones you already know.

3 B1

You can hold a conversation until it gets specific. Six months in, “specific” stops being the wall it used to be.

Why this isn’t another academy

Same language. Completely different six months.

Six years of grammar taught you exactly what grammar-first teaching produces: someone fluent in the rules and silent when you need to talk.

Your teachers

Natives know the destination.
Polyglots know how to get there.

Every teacher at Polydemy is a native speaker of the language they teach — and a polyglot who has personally learned other languages from scratch. They know both sides: what “sounds right” and how you get there without wanting to disappear mid-sentence first.

FAQ

Questions people actually ask.

What languages does Day 0 Lab cover?

Spanish, French and English, taught by native and polyglot teachers who have learned multiple languages themselves as adults.

How is my level decided?

A short spoken assessment before you start — not a form, an actual conversation — placed against A1, A2–B1 or B1.

Is it really only 5 people per group?

Max 5, always. It is the whole reason the format works — three sessions a week is wasted if you are one of fifteen people in the room.

What happens after the 6 months?

You keep speaking — with or without us. If you want to continue at your new level, we will place you in the next group.

Day 0 is whenever you start. Might as well be today.

Find your level, get matched to a group of 5, and have your first real conversation this week — not once you “feel ready.”
