1. Overview

These terms govern your use of Polydemy Conversation Lab's website and services. By applying to join a speaking group or using our website, you agree to these terms.

2. Services

Polydemy provides structured speaking practice sessions in small groups of 3-4 students, led by native speaker teachers. Sessions take place online, typically twice a week.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old
• Your language level should be between A2 and B2
• You must provide accurate contact information

4. Payment

Ongoing participation is a flat monthly subscription. The price depends on the format and frequency:

• In-person (Barcelona), 1 class per week: 60 euros per month (15 euros per class)
• In-person (Barcelona), 2 classes per week: 120 euros per month (15 euros per class)
• Online, 1 class per week: 60 euros per month (15 euros per class)
• Online, 2 classes per week: 65 euros per month (12 euros per class)

The monthly subscription is billed at the start of each billing cycle and is a flat amount, regardless of how many class weeks fall in a given month, public holidays, or planned closures — these are already accounted for in the monthly price.

The first class is a paid trial of 15 euros, paid separately in advance. If you continue, the monthly subscription starts on top; the trial fee is not credited back. If you do not continue, no further payment is due.

5. Commitment and Cancellation

• The minimum commitment is one month
• After the first month, you may cancel with 7 days notice before the next billing period
• If you miss sessions frequently without notice, we may reassign your spot to another student

6. Code of Conduct

All participants must:

• Treat other students and teachers with respect
• Attend sessions on time
• Notify the teacher if they cannot attend a session
• Use appropriate language and behavior during sessions

Polydemy reserves the right to remove any participant who does not follow these guidelines.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Polydemy website (text, images, design) is owned by Polydemy and may not be copied or reused without permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

Polydemy provides speaking practice sessions and does not guarantee specific language proficiency outcomes. Results depend on individual effort and participation.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify active participants.
