Terms of Service

1. Overview

These terms govern your use of Polydemy Conversation Lab's website and services. By applying to join a speaking group or using our website, you agree to these terms.

2. Services

Polydemy provides structured speaking practice sessions in small groups of 3-4 students, led by native speaker teachers. Sessions take place online, typically twice a week.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old
  • Your language level should be between A2 and B2
  • You must provide accurate contact information

4. Payment

The cost per session is 12 to 15 euros, depending on the format and frequency:

  • Online, 2 sessions per week: 12 euros per session
  • Online, 1 session per week: 15 euros per session
  • Offline (Barcelona), any frequency: 15 euros per session

Payment is due monthly or bi-weekly, as agreed upon joining. Sessions are billed whether or not you attend, unless you notify your teacher in advance.

5. Commitment and Cancellation

  • The minimum commitment is one month
  • After the first month, you may cancel with 7 days notice before the next billing period
  • If you miss sessions frequently without notice, we may reassign your spot to another student

6. Code of Conduct

All participants must:

  • Treat other students and teachers with respect
  • Attend sessions on time
  • Notify the teacher if they cannot attend a session
  • Use appropriate language and behavior during sessions

Polydemy reserves the right to remove any participant who does not follow these guidelines.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Polydemy website (text, images, design) is owned by Polydemy and may not be copied or reused without permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

Polydemy provides speaking practice sessions and does not guarantee specific language proficiency outcomes. Results depend on individual effort and participation.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify active participants.
